Thomas Heppell Band

  • Platform Tavern Town Quay Southampton, England, SO14 2NY United Kingdom (map)

From the vibrant South Coast of the UK to iconic venues across the nation, join Thomas Heppell as he crafts the next chapter in the blues narrative. With a style encapsulating the heart of Blues, the energy of Rock & Roll, and the sophistication of Jazz, Thomas can command a solo stage or drive the rhythm in his dynamic three-piece ensemble!

His musical journey has seen him share the limelight with stalwarts such as Albert Lee (Buddy Holly, Eric Clapton and The Everly Brothers), Chicken Shack, Dan Patlansky, The Cinelli Brothers, Elles Bailey and even household names like Anton du Beke of Strictly Come Dancing fame.

He’s also left his mark at illustrious venues and events including Ronnie Scott's, The 100 Club, Pizza Express Live, Brixton Blues Kitchen, The 1865, The Tuesday Night Club Coulsdon, Lincoln Jazz Cafe, Broadstairs Blues Bash, Temperance, Swanage Blues Festival, RamJam Kingston, The Bedford Balham, Ritzy Cinema and Weyfest.

In 2022, Thomas's debut solo EP, 'Be My Home', not only received airwave love from Jazz FM (Blues and Boogie - David Freeman) and Blues Radio UK (Richard Dunning - Chairman of Blues UK Federation), but also secured him three nominations at the UK Blues Awards 2023. With nods for Best Young, Emerging, and Acoustic Blues Artist, it's evident Thomas is a force to be reckoned with in the British Blues panorama.
